Jimmy Flowers is an accomplished actor, screenwriter, production coordinator, acting coach, and producer. In less than a year, during 2006, Jimmy appeared in more than 12 films, including starring roles in American Bomber, Life Room, The Domain, and Angels, Devils, and Men. In 2006, he also produced and cast Yesterday’s Tomorrow, an independent film that involved more than 150 actors and 13 locations throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
In 2007, Jimmy appeared in the films Who's Deal? and R.E.M. 2. He also cast, co-wrote and co-starred in the television series The Unjust playing series regular, computer hacker Wire. He also starred in the sequel to Lionsgate Films' Machined -- Machined Reborn. Plus, he contributed his voice to the role of Mr. Lee in The Controller, a CGI and live action feature film, which premiered on the Starz network.
In 2008, Jimmy played Alex in A&E Network's The Fugitive Chronicles and as the boss everyone loves to hate in a commercial for IsaGenix as well as Kent in Brain Damage Films' Vampageddon.
In 2009, Jimmy worked with Lifetime Television appearing in its summer mini-series event Maneater. He also worked behind the scenes as an assistant production coordinator. After Maneater, Jimmy moved to Lake Havasu City to work on Alex Aja's latest film Piranha, a joint venture with The Weinstein Company and Dimension Films.
On stage, Jimmy has appeared in more than 13 plays. In addition to playing the title role in The Nerd, Jimmy received an AriZoni Award nomination for his portrayal of Billy Bibbitt in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and a Prizm Award for his performance as Renfield in Dracula.
Prior to working full-time as an actor, Jimmy graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Arizona State University. Following his graduation, Jimmy worked for 9 years in the publishing industry where he wrote and edited books, newsletters, and magazines. Books Jimmy has edited include Red Zone Marketing: A Playbook for Winning All the Business You Want by Maribeth Kuzmeski, Hardwiring Excellence: Purpose, Worthwhile Work, Making a Difference by Quint Struder, Fifth Wave Leadership: The Internal Frontier by Morris R. Schectman, and The Driving Force by former Porsche AG CEO Peter Schutz.
Jimmy also won an award for his short story “Falling Into the Night” and authored 5 books, including The Incredible Internet Guide to Pop Music and 25 Essential Lessons for Employee Management. In addition, Jimmy was Director of Marketing for Cable Shopping Network.
